Movies, generals and restaurants all can get stars in recognition of their excellence. Tennessee, too, has recently been awarded some stars. In our case, we got four out of a possible five stars from Mothers Against Drunk Drivers for our state’s efforts to curtail drunken driving.
A Montgomery County grand jury recently handed down some of the most serious charges anyone can ever face: two men and a minor were charged with premeditated murder. The three are accused of “unlawfully, feloniously, intentionally and with premeditation” killing a 19-year-old Clarksville man last summer.
